We provide mental health and well-being support for refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable migrants within the Oxfordshire community.
Refugee Resource is a charity based in Oxford, UK, dedicated to supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable migrants who have been affected by trauma and displacement. Established over two decades ago, Refugee Resource provides critical services that address not only the immediate needs of these individuals but also their long-term wellbeing and integration into the community. The organization focuses on mental health support, practical assistance, and fostering resilience, ultimately empowering clients to build new lives with dignity and hope.
Refugee Resource recognises that many refugees and migrants experience significant mental health challenges as a result of forced migration. They may have witnessed or experienced violence, lost loved ones, or endured lengthy and perilous journeys to reach safety. Once they arrive in Oxford, they often face new struggles, including isolation, language barriers, and the challenges of adapting to an unfamiliar culture. Refugee Resource offers specialized mental health services designed to help individuals work through these experiences and regain a sense of stability and self-worth.
